About Us!

Sugarbush Kennel Club is located in Geauga County, Ohio. Founded in 1963 by Chester and Sandra Juredine, the club held its first American Kennel Club B match in 1964. The first AKC all-breed championship show was held in 1966 at Candyland. In 2008 SBKC expanded its shows to back-to-back all-breed shows at the Metroparks Polo Field. The latest move has been to Madison Ohio and the beautiful Bill Stanton Community Park. In 1971 the tradition of holding an AKC Puppy Match on the 4th of July began and has been replaced with the 4-6 month puppy event at the August Shows!
